Since 1996 Danny has be in the political and governmental arena of Louisiana. He is a veteran campaign manager of local, state and federal campaigns in Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi. Danny has also worked for the Louisiana Secretary of State Fox McKeithen, served as State Director for US Congressman Rodney Alexander, and Executive Director of the Louisiana Democratic Party. Since 2006 he has lobbied the Louisiana Legislature, and conducted issue management, grassroots, taxation, and media campaigns throughout the Gulf South for various clients and public affairs firms in Washington DC. Danny has also lobbied the Legislature and Executive Departments for clients whose issues range from: insurance, workers compensation, healthcare, agriculture, and energy.
Since 1998 Ty has had experience with state and local government.
Ty has served as an executive level appointee over a span of 10 years, first serving under Lieutenant Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco as Administrator of Scenic Byways and Audubon Golf Trail in Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism. Upon her election as Governor, Kathleen Babineaux Blanco appointed Ty as Executive Director of the Governor’s Office of Rural Development and he was also a member of her Senior Staff. Ty later served as Confidential Assistant to Agriculture and Forestry Commissioner Bob Odom. Ty has since served as Director of Association Services for with the Police Jury Association of Louisiana where he works closely with staff and local parish officials to prepare and lobby legislative issues. He has a vast understanding of state and local government and has built significant relationships with elected officials on both levels.
